SAIC Presents at 6th Annual Midstream Summit



(HOUSTON) Jan. 30, 2012 – Oil and gas experts from Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) [NYSE: SAI] will present at INFOCAST’s 6th Annual Midstream Summit, held Jan. 31 - Feb. 2 in Houston, Texas.

The conference will feature top midstream industry players from the rapidly-changing oil and gas industry, who will speak to strategies for developing new assets; current market conditions; shale plays that continue to alter the midstream landscape; and current and future opportunities in acquisition, development, and divestiture deal flow.

SAIC presentations include:

  • Vice President Jeffrey Spearman will co-present “The Midstream Industry: A Guide for New Entrants.” He will provide those new to the industry the information needed to make calculated, profitable business choices that will determine one’s course going forward.

  • Spearman will also moderate the keynote panel, “New Development of Hubs Across the U.S.,” which will provide an overview of new projects to connect rail, pipelines, storage, and end users – and an assessment of where hubs may be forming next.

  • Spearman will analyze the current opportunities, challenges, and competitive landscape for midstream players in the Eagle Ford and Permian Basin shale plays as he co-presents “Basin-by-Basin, Play-by-Play: Eagle Ford, Permian Basin, and Granite Wash.”

  • Senior Project Manager Andrew Foley will moderate the panel, “Current Pipeline Development and Build-Out.” This session will cover new projects, unanticipated developments, key hurdles professionals should anticipate to overcome, and development projections for 2012 and beyond.
